FFBC Red Party

"The 2012 Red Party was a fantastic success and we raised a record amount of money—20-30% better than we've ever done!"

—FFBC President Jonathan Wilson, February 4, 2012

Each February, FFBC throws The Red Party – our annual scholarship fundraising bash. Money raised from this event is awarded to Iowa college-bound seniors who fight homophobia in their communities and work to promote understanding and acceptance. The scholarships, valued at $2,500 each, are awarded at our June meeting.

Your generosity is crucial. The more money we raise, the more scholarships we're able to award to the outstanding young Iowans who promote equality and fight bigotry, often in the face of great hostility.

Our 2012 Red Party, held Feb. 3, raised $30,000—a RECORD amount! Your incredible generosity enables us to award up to twelve $2,500 scholarships to deserving students. Thank you! The Red Party has passed, but you may give to the FFBC Scholarship Fund year-round. Donations received before March 31 will go toward the 2012 Scholarship Fund. Donations received after that will go toward the 2013 Fund.

THANK YOU for continuing to make a difference in the lives of young people!
